The art that get's under your skin
“Show me a man with a tattoo and I'll show you a man with an interesting past.”
- Jack London
When and why did you start tattooing?
the beginnings
My beginnings in this beautiful art were the result of a trade I made with an acquaintance. I gave him my skateboard, and he gave me his tattoo machine in return. I traded skating for tattooing. That was the start of everything, and I learned the craft empirically because, 24 years ago when I began, we didn’t have the resources and knowledge available today.
How would you define your style?
Versatility Unleashed
I define my style as versatile because I am an old-school artist and learned to do all styles. Nowadays, I focus on four: Neo-Oriental, Traditional, Color, and Black & Grey. Of course, every day is a learning experience, as this career requires constant study.
